We recently welcomed Hercule the Elephant into our home. Don't you just love his ribbed green sweater and cute little hat? Hercule is a vegetarian and grows radishes on the windowsill. Very good at darning socks, he also enjoys watchings rockets go into space.
As Henry's first knitted toy, he holds a very special place in the nursery. There is something nostalgic and quaint about knitted toys, and I love the modern twist given to this charming character. Handmade from the softest cotton, Hercule has been lovingly created for the vivid imaginations of children.
Henry's cuddly companion arrived courtesy of Gigi Brooks, beautifully wrapped and boxed alongside the Hercule Travelling Blanket and Pillow. We adore this sweet little duo. The charming playmat proved invaluable whilst on holiday. Henry was able to spread out his toys and have a soft place to play wherever we were, whether it was the hard floors of our villa, the poolside or the park, and the cleverly designed handles make it all the more convenient to carry. I love the quirky screen-printed cotton fabric, it's unlike anything I've seen before and has a fun vibe to it.
If you're looking for something extra special for your little one, do take a look at Gigi Brooks, they have an exquisite collection of luxury nursery furniture and children's gifts. The nursery interiors featured on the site are breathtakingly beautiful, with hand crafted bassinets, elegant fabrics and opulent armoires, the pieces are fit for a fairy tale.
