When it comes to changing bags, Storksak was the first brand that sprung to my mind for a high quality, stylish bag. Made from an easily cleanable nylon with a faux leather trim, the Storksak Caroline is spacious enough to use both as a changing bag and a weekend bag. The classic design and colour mean this a changing bag Matt can use too, and he was pretty excited when it arrived and couldn't wait to take it out and about with our little one!
It wasn't until Henry was born that I realised just how many items I'd be wanting to pack when we went out, so space and ease of use were the most important features I was looking for when it came to a changing bag, and the Caroline has both. With six internal storage compartments and three outer pockets, there's plenty of space for baby paraphernalia and the this bag comfortably fits it all in - muslin cloths, nappies, wipes, nappy bags, my breastfeeding shawl, nursing pads, a change of outfit, a hat, and Henry's Health Record. The interior pockets mean I can I fit it all in an organised way so I can easily locate what I need when I open the bag and don't have to spend an age rifling through everything. It's also equipped with all the baby care essentials you'd expect to find - a padded changing mat, insulated bottle holder and a vanity case.
A feature which I love is the Strollerstraps on the cross-body shoulder strap, which allow the bag to be easily attached to a pushchair. These straps make life a whole lot easier as they securely attach to our Bugaboo and I don't need to get a sore back lugging about all of Henry's things and I can bend down to tend to him without the bag slipping off my shoulder. It also makes looking for something in the bag a lot more simple as I can use two hands to reach what I need. Overall, a really great unisex changing bag which both Matt and myself love using. We've already got plenty of use from it and I can see it lasting well through all of Henry's baby years.
