Christina Aguilera Secret Potion

I can't resist a feminine fragrance so when I read about Christina Aguilera's Secret Potion perfume, I knew I'd love it. It's described as an Oriental floral blend, opening with passion fruit and citrus notes of lemon and mandarin, settling into a warm heart of jasmine, orange and white lotus whilst the musky base notes include warm amber, tonka beans and ebony wood. The bottle is as girly and youthful as you'd expect from a celebrity fragrance which is targeted towards teens. Although a woman in her twenties, I must admit I do love the pastel pink colour scheme and the locket is an undeniably cute adornment. This is definitely a girly scent, yet it's not as sweet as some I own and the musky notes turn it into a slightly more sophisticated fragrance. Overall, it's a great inexpensive perfume for spritzing sporadically throughout the day when I want to save on my favourite Balenciaga and Thierry Mugler fragrances.

Christina Aguilera Secret Potion is priced at £29.50 for 30ml and is available to buy from Boots
